Wenatchee Area Genealogical Society
New Genealogists' Group - July
WAGS Genealogy Library Class
Thursday, July 19th, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Meeting will be at 107 S. Mission St. in Wenatchee - United Way building.
We will return to the library after the lesson for those working on research. (5 minute walk)
Good genealogists are hunters and gatherers! The challenge is keeping those things we have gathered where we can locate and study them for further research. This month we will concentrate on organizing what we have found, and talk about the kinds of things we should be collecting.  How do we build good research strategies?  What kinds of tools and programs will help us with our record keeping tasks? How to do I remember what I have tried before? These are some of the hardest parts of doing genealogy and learning good habits early will help us later!
